Driver Consumer-Report Disclosure

Berry Street Research LLC, operating Kindred, may obtain consumer reports about a driver applicant or active driver to determine and periodically review eligibility to access the Kindred driver platform. This disclosure concerns consumer reports only and is separate from the Kindred driver terms, subscription, and screening-fee agreement.

Reports Kindred May Request

Reports may include identity verification, criminal-history searches, motor-vehicle records, sex-offender registry searches, license and credential verification, and other legally permitted driver-safety information. Reports may be obtained from Checkr or another disclosed consumer reporting or verification provider.

Authorization

By affirmatively accepting this disclosure in Kindred Driver, you authorize Kindred and its screening providers to obtain the described reports for initial eligibility and, while you remain an applicant or active driver, recurring eligibility reviews. A screening provider may present additional disclosures or authorizations that must also be completed before a report is ordered.

Your Rights and Adverse Action

Kindred does not treat a generic app notification as a legally delivered pre-adverse action notice. Before final action based on a consumer report, Kindred requires verifiable delivery of the notice, report information, and the applicable Summary of Rights, followed by a response period. You may dispute inaccurate or incomplete information with the reporting provider and submit an appeal through Kindred Driver. An overturned appeal requires a fresh screen rather than manufacturing a passing result.

Review the Federal Trade Commission's Fair Credit Reporting Act materials. State and local rights may provide additional protections.
